Only available at our Worthing Practice

Dentalessence Worthing are now offering Facial Aesthetic treatments.

Our clinician, Claire Thelwell will be carrying out a whole range of treatments including anti-wrinkle treatments, skin boosters and fillers, treating areas including frown lines, crows feet, forehead lines, hyperhidrosis (underarm sweating), jaw slimming, Nefertiti neck lift, lip augmentation, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and more.

At your consultation, Claire will talk to you about your concerns and create a suitable treatment plan tailored just to you.

As we get older, our skin starts to show signs of ageing. It’s an inevitable part of life and can be quite the knock in confidence when you start to notice lines around your eyes and mouth.

These wrinkles are a side-effect of your skin losing collagen and elastin, components in the chemical make-up of your skin responsible for its volume and elasticity.

Claire has a range of facial aesthetic treatments that can help combat these concerns. Whether you wish to smooth away noticeable lines that appear when you laugh, frown or smile, or those lines that are always on view, we have treatments that can help.

What treatments are available?

Dermal Fillers

By using dermal fillers, we can replenish lost volume and smoothen noticeable lines.

Fillers work through stimulating cellular reproduction and giving skin a new lease of life.

Anti-wrinkle injections

Our qualified facial aesthetics clinician can prescribe anti-wrinkle injections.

Known by the brand name, Botox, this treatment can target muscles under the skin and block nerve signals. This stops wrinkles that appear through muscle movement in the face.

The effects of your treatment fade over time and need to be topped up. The treatments do last longer over time as you have it done more often.

Skin boosters

Skin boosters for all different skin types and concerns.

Profhilo – Injectable Collagen and elastin boosting hyaluronic acid

  • For tightening, smoothing, rehydrating and brightening age related dull, crepey, sagging skin.
  • For dramatically improving skin texture, stimulating collagen and elastin production giving a freshness and smoothness to skin quality.
  • For rejuvenating skin on the face, neck and decolletage.

Hydrobooster – A form of injectable hyaluronic acid combined with glycerol designed specifically to rehydrate and smooth fine lines. It does not add volume and can be used in all areas of the face including the delicate under eye area.1-3 treatments are usually required.

Seventy Hyal – An Incredibly high molecular weight of Hyaluronic Acid being delivered to give intense, moisture-surging skin-deep hydration. The beautiful glow is created by bo-stimulation of new collagen so enabling the wow appearance. Seventy hyal helps to provide a gentle contour & soft lift.

Bio-remodelling of the skin cells, helping to restore the skin cell from damage and dehydration. Skin boosters tackle skin laxity over two treatments, given four weeks’ apart, with full results being seen eight weeks after the initial treatment. Thereafter, one treatment every six months depending of client requirements.

Skin boosters improve the density of the skin by stimulating fibroblasts and the formation of collagen and elastin fibres.
Treatment skin boosters with hyaluronic acid stimulate the production of new multiple collagen networks and restore the level of natural hyaluronic acid in the skin by counteracting the breakdown process.

Furthermore, they are designed to restructure and reinforce the extracellular matrix revitalising skin that is dehydrated and damaged by aging and solar exposure.

Their bio-stimulating and bio-remodelling of the skin cells is something that no other product can do.

Great for those with tired, dull-looking skin, transforming it into firm and luminous skin restoring radiance again. It can also help with acne scaring.

Skin boosters can drastically improve hyperpigmentation and open pores. They Tighten and lift skin
They give the skin a youthful appearance that is genuinely deeply hydrated. As we age our skin cannot hydrate itself as it once could. That’s why skin boosters are a must as HA is hydrophilic, which means it draws and holds water from your body and therefore acts as a hydrator rather than a filler.

Why visit your dental practice for facial aesthetics?

At present, anyone can perform aesthetic treatments without insurance or qualifications. The government is planning to regulate this industry so as to permit only those with qualifications to practice. This is why dental practices are the ideal place to have non-surgical aesthetic treatments.

Dental practices have qualified clinicians who are licensed with regulatory bodies GDC, ACE, CQC registered, insured with dental and aesthetic companies. Using only the best medical brands and sources from ethical and sustainable companies for supplies.

Our clinician has trained at MATA, Harley Street, London and is currently studying L7 in Aesthetic Medicine, where she will then hold a Masters in Aesthetic Practice. Dentalessence has high standards of care and have carried out extensive training in the field to make sure that any clinicians offering services are fully qualified to do so.

We are practitioners who want to deliver the safest & best possible journey for our patients.
